Costa Media’s mission is to program and distribute quality audio content: the best music, sports and news that resonates with the underserved US LatinX Audio Consumer through Terrestrial Radio, Streaming, Podcasts and Live Events.  We want to be the No. 1 platform for the US Hispanic Audio Consumer.

La Pantera first launched in August 2016 in Fort Worth Texas and San Antonio Texas, then we launched our first station in Boston in August 1st, 2021 and now we expand into the Washington DC DMA because we see an opportunity to create and forge partnerships in the local market to super serve the DMV local LatinX and bilingual community through our format, La Pantera.

La Pantera brings a unique format that combines Regional Mexican and Spanish Urban music and content that targets the Hispanic Adult 1849 skewing 1834.

While Costa Media is new to the DMV and radio market our team has over 50 years combined experience in Sales & Marketing, programming and media operations.  We strive to entrench ourselves with the local organizations and media partners to super serve the local community and uplift LatinX audiences.

The Latino in Texas grew by 19.6 percent over the last decade. Mexican Americans are the border state’s largest Latino group.  In the last two decades, a growing number of Texas Hispanics have included Salvadorans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, all drawn by the state’s booming economy, tech hubs and proximity to the Mexican border.
